  1. In medical services we will become the first choice hospital for people with medical diseases:
    On the existing foundation of trust and critical acclaim from people DoIM will constantly strive to achieve both advancement and excellence.
  2. In teaching DoIM will become the first choice for medical students and residents:
    Internal medicine incorporates extensive knowledge. Through excellent teaching we will increase interest in internal medicine among medical students and residents and attract more outstanding talents to the field of internal medicine.
  3. In research DoIM will make a contribution to life sciences:
    By orienting new colleagues we will foster interest in research and enthusiasm for learning. We will encourage colleagues to collaborate to solve the bottleneck and difficulties encountered clinically, in the hope that we can make a contribution to human life sciences in the twenty-first century.
  4. In teamwork DoIM will become the first choice department that our colleagues can settle down, develop their flair, serve the people and fulfill themselves:
    We will create a work environment that our colleagues can help each other, give mutual assistance, lead a harmonious and happy life and take the initiative. We will share weal and woe as well as honor and disgrace.
