Thoracic surgery is a sub-special of surgery. The surgical field we managing include cervical, thoracic and abdominal region. The surgery to manage the organs in between these regions were all practiced by thoracic surgeons.

- Disease of the esophagus: Malignancy of the esophagus, Benign tumor of the esophagus, GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease), foreign body of the esophagus, corrosive injury of the upper gastrointestinal tract, esophageal stenosis, diaphragm herniation, feeding tubes, …etc.
