實驗室介紹

Introduction to the Circulation Laboratory

  1. Using microRNAs and exosomes to study the cardiac adaptation and remodeling in pulmonary hypertension and mitral regurgitation

  2. Through whole exome sequencing (WES) and speckle tracking imaging to establish the predictive model of Cardio-Oncology
  3. The translational study of therapeutic interventions of novel drugs and compounds in cardiotoxicity and nephrotoxicity
  4. The applications of adipocyte derived stem cell (ADSC) ad hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) in hindlimb ischemia
  5. The hands-on workshop of small animal echo and lab techniques for residents and medical students

 Introduction to the Circulation Laboratory

Our laboratory focuses on utilizing translational medicine platforms and novel animal models to investigate cardiovascular diseases, aiming to identify new pathogenic factors involved in interdisciplinary conditions such as valvular heart disease, cardio-oncology, and pulmonary hypertension. Through cellular, molecular, and transgenic animal studies, we conduct fundamental research to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. Guided by the concept of precision medicine, we further explore potential strategies for prevention and pharmacological intervention.

Over the past few years, our laboratory has applied this research approach to explore the following research topics:

  1. Using microRNAs and exosomes to study the cardiac adaptation and remodeling in
    pulmonary hypertension and mitral regurgitation
  2. Through whole exome sequencing (WES) and speckle tracking imaging to establish
    the predictive model of Cardio-Oncology
  3. The translational study of therapeutic interventions of novel drugs and compounds
    in cardiotoxicity and nephrotoxicity
  4. The applications of adipocyte derived stem cell (ADSC) ad hyperbaric oxygen (HBO)
    in hindlimb ischemia
  5. The hands-on workshop of small animal echo and lab techniques for residents and
    medical students
