In July of the year 1997 in the Republic of China, Dr. Shih Dun-Yi, a resident general surgeon, established the Pediatric Surgery Department upon returning to the hospital following two years of training at the National Taiwan University Hospital and Chang Gung Children's Hospital.
We dvelop a new (trans-scrotal) approach for inguinal hernias and have an experience of over 1000 cases. This technique is also accepted by Pediatric Surgery International in 2012 Vol. 28 No. 04:417- 420.
