With the increasingly improving quality of life, people in the country are gradually realizing that they should seek medical attention at hospitals for skin diseases, rather than simply buying ointments. Therefore, the dermatology department of our hospital has seen a significant increase in personnel, outpatient visits, surgical treatments, and pathological specimens compared to its initial establishment.
The dermatology department relies on four full-time attending physicians. These doctors come from major medical centers, each with expertise and rich medical and clinical experience. In addition to traditional treatment of acne, eczema, allergies, fungal infections, and other common skin diseases, we have further expanded and updated our equipment for skin treatment, such as liquid nitrogen cryotherapy devices, electrocautery units, ultraviolet irradiation devices, ruby laser therapy machines, skin rejuvenation lasers, photography systems, and KOH tests. We also support Chi Mei Hospital in Liouying, caring for the skin health of people in northern Tainan.
We recognize the significant responsibility for the sustainable development of dermatology and are diligently planning the development of distinctive features within our department.
