♦ The Division of Traumatology was accredited and passed the highest level of emergency medical capabilities in the year 2012 and 2017.
♦ In the 2006, 「 0206 Southern Taiwan earthquake」 we cooperated with the emergency department. Emergency medical aid was immediately set up on the front line and actively participated in various disaster relief operations. The back line was jointly cared for by the trauma team and the intensive care unit.
♦ On April 24, 2020, the medical team of Chi Mei Medical Center (emergency department, anesthesia department, trauma department, etc.) completed an out-of-hospital surgical rescue mission, fully demonstrating the core values of Chi Mei Hospital " Compassion, Accountability and Effectiveness "
♦ In addition, we're organizing the Trauma Associated Surgical Skill Training Course (TASSKI) for the year 2023. TASSKI was first organized in the 106th year of the Republic of China, by the Trauma Surgery Association. It's focused on teaching basic emergency procedures for abdominal and thoracic trauma surgeries, such as emergency laparotomy and thoracotomy, hemorrhage control, and urgent organ removal.
