- In July of the year 1997 in the Republic of China, Dr. Shih Dun-Yi, a resident general surgeon, established the Pediatric Surgery Department upon returning to the hospital following two years of training at the National Taiwan University Hospital and Chang Gung Children's Hospital.
- We dvelop a new (trans-scrotal) approach for inguinal hernias and have an experience of over 1000 cases. This technique is also accepted by Pediatric Surgery International in 2012 Vol. 28 No. 04:417- 420.
